Food Pub Awards
In these awards licensees and pub caterers submit a paper entry for judging including details of their pub's food offer, menus, how they plans to grow food sales, best food innovations in past year, along with specific details relating to the award such as steak offer, all-day dining offer etc.
From paper entries three pubs will be selected as finalists. These finalists will then be interviewed for more information about their offer at pre-arranged site visits to their pubs by judges. Judges will also sample dishes during the site visit.
The three finalists will all be invited to the awards night on 10 March, where the winner will be unveiled.
Steak Pub of the Year
Steak and chips is among one of the UK's most popular pub dishes and to celebrate the continuing demand for the dish and the growth of weekly steak nights in pubs we have launched this new category for the 2011 awards.
Italian Food Pub of the Year
In this category, we are looking for entries from pubs that have a big focus on Italian food. Perhaps your pub hosts a weekly pizza night or offers take-away pizzas and pastas or hosts regular Itanlian theme nights or events at the pub.
All Day Dining Oub of the Year
This award recognises pubs that drive food sales from breakfast to closing time, with through the day offers such as morning coffee, afternoon tea, sharing boards and take-away food.
